We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager for Route to Market Transformation. This pivotal role is responsible for driving and leading the transformation of our route to market strategies across Oceania. You will optimise our distribution network and enhance operational efficiency to ensure effective delivery to our major customers. By implementing innovative strategies and leveraging new technologies, you will ensure that we are not only delivering efficiently but also optimising the way we deliver products, improving last-mile logistics, and negotiating effectively with various stakeholders.

 

Please note, this role can be performed from either Melbourne or Sydney and is a parental leave replacement, offered as a fixed-term contract until April 2025, with the possibility of extension.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Develop and implement innovative, data-driven route to market strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring market penetration, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
  • Optimise the distribution network by evaluating, designing, and implementing processes that maximise efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance delivery speed, including logistics solutions for high-volume customer deliveries.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline sales and distribution processes, reducing lead times and improving overall customer experience.
  • Implement new technologies and capabilities, such as real-time GPS for delivery optimisation, ensuring we meet customer requirements and improve our service offerings.
  • Identify potential risks and challenges associated with route to market strategies and implement proactive measures to mitigate them.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners and vendors involved in the route to market process, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and contractual obligations.

 

About You

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in the Beverages or FMCG industry is mandatory, along with a strong background in Route to Market strategies and operations.
  • Proven experience optimising distribution networks and enhancing last-mile logistics, particularly in high-volume environments such as major retailers.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse market dynamics and implement data-driven strategies that improve customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with a track record of delivering large-scale transformation projects on time and within budget.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of interpreting complex data and making informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation and with external partners.
