In our bustling Huntingwood facility, you'll collaborate closely with our manufacturing operations team, leveraging your technical prowess and mechanical know-how to ensure our machinery operates at peak efficiency. As you skillfully manage equipment, you'll also play a pivotal role in producing our world-class beverages. This multifaceted role encompasses machine operation, proactive maintenance, rapid response to breakdowns, and mentoring colleagues to uphold our exacting safety and quality standards.

12-hour shifts, three days a week, with opportunities on both the front-end and back-end, of Day Shift or Night Shift. 

 

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Daily operation of machinery, ensuring seamless production processes.
  • Supporting preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, and rigorous testing protocols for effective line performance.
  • Upholding strict cleanliness standards through regular process area maintenance, adhering to company compliance, GMP, and HACCP guidelines.
  • Promptly addressing maintenance issues to uphold machine integrity and operational efficiency.
  • Expertly troubleshooting to minimise machine downtime.
  • Conducting quality tests and fine-tuning machinery to uphold our stringent quality standards.

About You

  • Experience as a machine operator in the FMCG industry (plus familiarity with GMP compliance)
  • Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Have a proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives
  • Exhibit effective communication skills and a positive, can-do attitude in a team environment
  • An ability to juggle numerous responsibilities at any given time without sacrificing quality
  • An ability to work on repetitive tasks maintaining a high level of accuracy and focus
  • A passion for safety, ensuring that not only yourself but that your entire team is operating in a safe manner, through strictly following processes
  • You have strong computer literacy & the ability to learn new systems (SAP experience is highly regarded)
  • A trade or degree qualifications in electrical, mechanical, engineering, automotive, or related disciplines (highly regarded)
