As the Accelerator Program Manager, part of the On-Premise Trade Marketing Team, you will be responsible for planning and executing events, as well as managing contracts and coordinating key talent partnerships – particularly in the live music and entertainment sectors.

 

This role presents an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to actively contribute to the growth of the on-premise market by delivering engaging and memorable experiences. Your ability to collaborate with artists, talent partners, and stakeholders will be crucial in elevating brand presence through high-quality events.

 

The ideal candidate is a natural salesperson, a genuine self-starter, and a true insider in the industry. You'll leverage your extensive network of contacts and understand that every interaction, no matter how small, holds value. Your ability to work seamlessly with the Accelerator trade activation team and a network of leading entertainment agencies will ensure the delivery of diverse, impactful experiences, from renowned household names to beloved local talents.

 

Key Accountabilities

 

  • Working with the on-premise Heads of Sales, lead and develop bespoke experience plans for each key customer group and venue type.
  • Manage budget expectations and brief agency partners where required
  • In line with the strategy, work with Agency partners to recruit and contract a pipeline of talent
  • Negotiate best rates, leveraging marketing in kind capabilities and economy of scale, to lock in premium talent and experiences.
  • Oversee the management of events/performances/shows on the day including ensuring talent are where they need to be when, they have everything they require and that the venues are prepared for the event
  • Navigate complexity to ensure we deliver events in full and on budget
  • Develop clear systems and measures to ensure program can be assessed and optimized as required.
  • Develop and coach a team of two to deliver projects on-time.

 

 

About you

 

  • Significant experience in talent acquisition, booking or management
  • Extensive experience in events
  • Sales and/or Marketing experience
  • Expert knowledge of the people and process of the Australian entertainment industry
  • Knowledge of digital and social media marketing
  • Strong Influencing and negotiating skills.
