Your Impact

As our new Finance Analyst, you'll be at the forefront of providing accurate, timely, and reliable financial information to support our Grocery, On & Off Premise channels.

Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the integrity of our ERP system (MS Dynamics) and managing pricing, line discounts and rebates.

Key responsibilities

• Business partner closely with Key Account Managers for the Grocery, On and Off Premise teams and National Field Sales Manager to provide valuable financial counsel and insights
• Maintain product pricing, trade spend, and discount data by customer in MS Dynamics
• Perform in-depth financial modelling and simulations for various business scenarios and investment opportunities
• Work with the Finance Manager and Sales team to align trade spend accruals within Dynamics to agreed guardrails
• Support month-end reporting and prepare financial analyses as required
• Ensure appropriate financial processes and controls are in place and regularly reviewed
• Assist in reviewing the performance of new accounts, promotions, Direct Marketing Investment, overheads, and capital investment

About You

• Previous experience in financial assistant / analyst or officer roles, preferably in a FMCG environment
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
• Excellent report writing and verbal communication skills
• Developing interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships
• Practical financial acumen and understanding of different market dynamics
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or similar field
• Post-graduate qualification or progress towards CA/CPA (or equivalent) is advantageous but not essential
