Your Impact

This is a 6-month contract role, covering parental leave. Please note, this role is required to work across both our Parnell Head Office and Papakura Supply Chain sites.

 

The HR Business Partner will be responsible for leading People initiatives across our NZ business, embedding the Asahi culture, people practices and processes, and building capability to drive our business performance. Partnering with key stakeholders across the total NZ business (including Commercial, Supply Chain and support functions), this role manages a diverse portfolio and is pivotal in driving a consistent employee experience for our people.

 

This role will also partner and collaborate closely with the broader People & Corporate Affairs team, to roll out key activities and initiatives, leverage best practice and drive continuous improvement.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the HR driver and coach to leadership teams in leading, managing and supporting their teams to deliver the business strategy
  • Be accountable for communicating, implementing, and embedding core HR policies and processes
  • Coach and support managers on the delivery of cyclical People processes, including performance, talent, development, engagement and remuneration activities  
  • Work with the broader HR team to translate regional and local change initiatives and capability strategies into an implementation plan for the business
  • Guide leaders through managing ER processes and general employment matters

 

 

About You

Looking for an individual with strong business partnering experience and an ability to work autonomously. A proactive approach to their work and adept at navigating complexity and solving business problems.

 

  • Experience in a generalist HR, Employment Relations or Business Partnering role, within a medium/large organization
  • Strong communication, engagement and interpersonal skills – delivering impactful messages and influencing outcomes
  • Experience in aligning structure, process and routines to implement and anchor changes
  • Strong understanding of NZ employment legislation
  • Strong ability to build relationships quickly, and able to coach and influence across all levels of the business
