Asahi Beverages is currently on the lookout for a full-time Learning & Development Lead to partner with our senior leadership team to facilitate long term, strategic, people development objectives. In this position, you will own the planning, implementation and management of L&D activities to enhance the capability of our frontline workforce (over 500 employees).  You'll be supporting our QLD and NSW sites, based in Huntingwood, ensuring that our teams are equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to achieve the Asahi Supply Chain mission and vision.


Key Responsibilities Include

  • Conducting training needs analysis and developing training plans to identify skill gaps
  • Implementing training programs in line with supply chain development objectives
  • Partnership & collaboration with manufacturing leaders to gain in-depth understanding of site needs
  • Thorough documentation of strategic training plans and reporting on outcomes
  • Supporting change initiatives and improving organisational effectiveness through learning and development
  • Ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and legal requirements in training programs
  • Monitoring and reporting on training spending to meet budget requirements
  • Uphold and contribute to safety and wellbeing commitments and culture


About You

To succeed in this role you will have a people-first mindset, with a background in managing learning & development programs for a large workforce in fast-paced industries such as FMCG, Manufacturing, or Logistics. Your ability to act as a key collaborator with senior leaders will be crucial.

You'll be a great fit for the role if you also possess the following:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively partner with senior leadership teams
  • Strong change management skills, and the ability to quickly adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience in conducting training needs analysis and developing strategic training plans
  • Experience and attention to detail in documenting processes and reporting outcomes
  • Experience using and optimising learning management systems (LMS)
  • A qualification in Training & Assessment would be highly regarded
