Your Impact 

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Imports Planning Manager to join our Southbank Office. Reporting into the Group Senior Manager Deployment and Bought-in Finished Goods (BIFG) Planning you will lead and build capability of the team to integrate and manage BIFG for Asahi businesses within Australia.  This includes Imports, Contract Manufacturing and Re-packing. Additionally, you will define accountability and improve planning processes for movement of goods between Australian business units.


Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead BIFG activities within a collaborative supply chain, influencing and driving key interfaces.
  • Ensure ways of working are established for suppliers, with clear deliverables including order metrics, inventory management and material reconciliations.
  • Lead the Supply Chain activities for new business partnerships and distribution agreements.  Ensure processes are developed and embedded to meet service and cost targets.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal / external suppliers
  • Prioritise developing team capability – aligned to strategic priorities and development of future-ready leaders
  • Liaise with broader team to drive an optimal distribution network and supply, and to deliver benefits through improvement projects
  • Improve organisation effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve productivity and drive a performance culture


About You 

  • Ideally similar experience within FMCG or similar fast paced manufacturing industry
  • Highly experienced in the planning and management of complex supply chain networks
  • Experienced in national supply chain networks within planning and inventory management
  • Sound leadership and people management experience
  • Sound stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Strong understanding of supply chain planning concepts
  • Strong business and financial acumen
