As a Field Sales Manager at Asahi Beverages, you’ll take charge of a high-performing field team, driving exceptional in-store execution and delivering against key commercial objectives. This role is more than just leadership — it’s about building capability, developing talent, and creating a winning culture that thrives on collaboration and results.
You'll work closely with cross-functional teams across sales and commercial to shape and execute annual and cycle plans, manage key customers in your area, and bring our strategic plans to life at store level. With a strong focus on coaching, you’ll empower your team to hit KPIs, lift in-store standards, and make an impact where it matters most — in the hands of our customers.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and execute area plans aligned to the state’s commercial objectives.
- Build a high-performing team by embedding a strong performance culture.
- Monitor and evaluate financial and execution performance across the area, identifying opportunities and supporting corrective actions.
- Ensure the field team receives clear, timely communication on priorities, tools, and key initiatives.
- Collaborate with commercial stakeholders including customer marketing, national accounts, and the contact centre.
- Use customer knowledge and insights to inform state cycle planning and business performance reviews.
- Provide market insights and contribute to annual planning with Customer and Channel teams.
- Track customer satisfaction across territories, escalating issues and identifying opportunities to drive growth.
- Build resource plans that optimise field capacity, leveraging the call centre to ensure efficient coverage where field visits are not viable.
About you
- Proven experience in field sales and account management within the FMCG industry.
- Demonstrated leadership capability with experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
- Skilled in territory planning and optimising resources to drive in-market execution.
- Strong track record of delivering results in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
- Commercially savvy with strong analytical skills and experience managing large P&Ls.
- Excellent communicator with strong decision-making and stakeholder relationship management skills.
