Partnerships are a key channel for Asahi’s growth. In this dynamic role, the Partnership & Events Lead will be a key driver of Asahi's growth in NSW by spearheading the development and execution of a winning sponsorship strategy. You'll not only secure impactful partnerships but also ensure their successful activation through creative events and flawless brand messaging. This translates to measurable results and a significant contribution to Asahi's brand awareness and market position within the region. 

 

This is a Sydney based role.

 

Key responsibilities  

 

  • Develop and execute sponsorship strategy for NSW & ACT, aligned with national strategy and state sales goals.
  • Identify and secure new sponsorship opportunities, maximising value for Asahi and the partners.
  • Plan and execute sponsorship activations and events in NSW, ensuring seamless brand message delivery.
  • Manage relationships with partners, agencies, and internal stakeholders across NSW.
  • Measure and evaluate sponsorship performance, ensuring maximum return on investment.
  • Drive alignment between sponsorship portfolio and category/brand plans to ensure effective integration of sponsorships across NSW.
  • Collaborate closely with key stakeholders, particularly brands and sales teams, to ensure seamless integration of all activities. 

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role you will have: 

  • Tertiary qualification in business or relevant experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar Sponsorship & Events or Sales and/or Marketing role.
  • Proven experience in managing and leveraging sponsorships to achieve maximum value.
  • Exceptional communicator with strong influencing and negotiation skills, and relationship management skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills to track, measure, and evaluate sponsorship performance.
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Creative mindset, a hunger for innovation, and passion for looking for ways to solve brand problems
