Your Impact
We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented Asset Coordinator to join our team at Prospect in NSW. In this role, you’ll play a critical part in managing the flow and accountability of returnable assets across the site, ensuring operational accuracy and driving process compliance.
This is a hands-on role that blends administrative precision with active engagement across site operations. You’ll work closely with internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners to reduce hire costs, prevent asset loss, and maintain accurate inventory records.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee the management of returnable pallets and other hire equipment, ensuring compliance with national processes
- Lead reconciliation activities and maintain accurate asset records through timely reporting and investigation of discrepancies
- Manage the inbound and outbound container process, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant movements across the supply chain
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external providers to drive transaction accuracy and continuous improvement
- Monitor supplier performance and manage local relationships, including quarterly reviews
- Identify inefficiencies and support initiatives to reduce cost and waste across the asset management process
- Conduct regular audits of asset handling practices and ensure operational teams adhere to compliance standards
- Support administrative processes including inventory tracking, transfers, and reporting requirements
About You
You’ll bring a strong understanding of asset and pallet management within a warehousing or logistics environment, as well as the confidence to work both independently and collaboratively across functions.
To succeed in this role, you’ll have:
- Experience in asset and pallet management, including reconciliation, account management, and stakeholder negotiations
- Strong computer literacy, with proficiency in SAP and familiarity with warehouse management systems (e.g. 2IC) preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence both internal and external stakeholders
- A hands-on approach and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, operational environment
