Based in America's South East (Florida or Georgia), you will be responsible for achieving the distribution and sales growth objectives for Independent Distiller’s brands by driving distributor execution in focused channels and accounts.

About the position

Reporting to the Director of U.S. Sales, and based in either Florida or Georgia, you will be responsible for achieving the distribution and sales growth objectives for Independent Distiller’s brands by driving distributor execution in focused channels and accounts.

A proven, entrepreneurial sales leader, you will act as the key liaison between market/state-level distributor leadership and senior management. You will be accountable for leading sales programs, customer events and promotional programs that provide sales growth as well as providing best in class delivery of NPD launch execution, sales planning and customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive execution of sales strategy through monthly monitoring of distributor performance against shipment and depletion goals
  • Work with Director of U.S. Sales to develop and execute strategies to launch new products or line extensions
  • Grow distributor relationships, ensuring focus and execution against company objectives
  • Manage assigned accounts within all trade channels (Off/On premise, Venues, & Military)
  • Identify opportunities and monitor issues with key retail accounts
  • Coordinate and Drive programming, promotion, and pricing execution for key accounts
  • Implement trade promotions, discounts, and manage associated budgets
  • Ensure appropriate ROI based on promotion / discount investment
 
About you
  • Tertiary or MBA qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Commerce, Business or Marketing
  • FMCG and distributor management experience required
  • Key Account management experience within the alcohol beverage industry is highly desirable  
  • Well-developed negotiation and mediation skills with the ability to influence
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to develop customer/distributor strategies, programs, and promotions
  • Strong business acumen
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A self-starter driven by success
