Your Impact

Reporting to our Chief Human Resources Officer a typical day in this role will include EA negotiations, conflict resolution, award interpretations, writing and development of position classifications, and many other responsibilities that play a vital role in supporting business growth and efficiency.

This is a 10 month parental leave contract.

 

About You

You’re a passionate and strong-willed professional with a well-developed background in Employee Relations Laws. You enjoy coaching and investigative work and have proven experience working in a similar role with an ability to hit the ground running. Ideally, you will thrive working under pressure and love facing challenges on a day-to-day basis and your ability to manage clients' expectations through challenging times will be paramount. In addition, you will also have the opportunity to work on various key projects within the HR function.

 

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Lead and provide subject matter expertise and technical support required during Enterprise Agreement negotiations
  • Ensure required HR policies, procedures and processes are in place and aligned to Asahi Beverages values
  • Provide specialised advice in relation to performance management, conduct investigations, terminations, restructures and redundancies
  • Undertake workplace investigations or provide support as required
  • Represent the Employers interest at workplace tribunal matters

 

What we’re looking for

  • Degree qualified or Equivalent in Workplace Relations and/or Human Resource Management (which includes an ER/IR component)
  • Solid experience in an Employee Relations advisory role with sound knowledge of Industrial Relations and Workplace legislation
  • Ability to provide commercially sound and accessible advice and support to stakeholders as required
  • Experience in Enterprise Agreement Negotiation
  • Understanding of the workplace relations framework and interpretation of industrial instruments
