You’ll also lead a growing team through a phase of development, with a clear focus on team clarity, capability building and strategic execution. This is a role for someone who enjoys working at pace, engaging directly with stakeholders and influencing outcomes through strong leadership, insight and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Commercial and Corporate leadership teams to deliver safety and wellbeing initiatives aligned to strategic pillars (Safety Leadership, Critical Risk Management and Continuous Improvement)
- Lead and coach a team of ESW professionals to drive engagement, performance and uplift in safety culture
- Use performance data to identify trends, assess risk profiles and inform targeted interventions
- Influence leadership capability, drive accountability and model a clear and consistent safety message from the top
- Guide the development of systems, processes and ways of working across teams at varying stages of maturity
- Support cross-functional collaboration and alignment with broader safety goals across AU/NZ
About You

- You’re an experienced safety and wellbeing leader with a track record of influencing senior stakeholders and delivering business-aligned outcomes
- You bring a strategic mindset but can pivot quickly and make smart decisions in dynamic environments
- You’re confident managing multi-site responsibility and value both structure and adaptability
- You lead with clarity, speak directly, hold people to account and challenge constructively when needed
- You understand that great safety outcomes come from understanding people, not just systems
