Your Impact

Are you a skilled and ambitious Maintenance Fitter with a passion for working with high-speed packaging and machinery? As a Brewery Technician in Yatala, you will work closely with a team of production operators to support in scheduled maintenance activities, collaborating with your team to problem-solve equipment or process related issues, and ultimately deliver on our vision to bring enjoyment and connection to everyday moments in life through the production of our iconic beverages.

Please note: This position is a permanent, full-time position. You will need to be available for a 24/6 rotating roster of 12-hour day shifts & night shifts.

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Perform specialized maintenance tasks (60-70% of the time), including scheduled and breakdown maintenance, as well as high-order problem-solving.

  • Ensure high-speed packaging machinery is set up and operating efficiently, minimizing downtime and improving reliability.

  • Serve as a subject matter expert in diagnostics and continuous improvement, coaching and mentoring team members to build operational capability.

  • Maintain and enhance preventative maintenance programs within your area of responsibility.

  • Collaborate across teams, including manufacturing engineers, tradespeople, and planners, to address production issues and implement solutions.

  • Contribute to a safe and sustainable workplace by adhering to safety, environmental, and quality standard

 

About You

We're on the lookout for a reliable and motivated team player that’s ready to take on new challenges in this role. You also bring:

  • A trade qualifications in a relevant field (e.g., Fitting, Maintenance).
  • Experience with high-speed packaging and machinery, ideally in FMCG or similar environments.
  • Strong diagnostic, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement skills with a structured approach to problem-solving.
  • Proficiency in CMMS – exposure to SAP and Microsoft Office is beneficial.
  • The ability to adapt to various tasks and challenges while maintaining a proactive attitude.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team environment.
  • An ambitious mindset, ready to learn and grow in a dynamic workplace.
