As our Assistant Brand Manager, you will take responsibility for assisting in the execution of the marketing activities for CUB’s most iconic and loved brands across our Multi Beverage business including brands from our Beer, RTDs and Spirit categories.


This is the opportunity to disrupt the market with inspiring work on brands like Great Northern, Carlton Dry, VB, Vodka Cruiser, Hard Rated, Good Tides, Carlton Draught and Woodstock (to name a few).


This will be achieved by leading and delivering critical brand projects across communications, media, partnerships, new products, new visual identities, cost optimization and trade activity. 



Key Accountabilities:


  • Lead commercialization of brand projects, including the ideation, scope, project team development, and stakeholder leadership to achieve brand & project objectives.
  • Challenge and champion quality and brand standards we execute to against brand positioning and visual guidelines.
  • Manage communications and expectations across key stakeholder group.
  • Role model an agile mindset – foster ingenuity and a possibilities approach; encourage perseverance, impact in interaction and can-do attitude; and flourish in change.
  • Support the CUB Marketing Team on the commercial reporting of activity (where required) against the objectives/measures.
  • In collaboration with the Marketing Managers and Head of Brand, you will review brand strategy & projects and recommend changes/additions to strategy.

Other Attributes we are looking for:


  • Marketing experience within the FMCG sector
  • Demonstrated understanding of market, consumer and shopper trends and influence on brand activation
  • Demonstrated understanding of brand positioning and the creative development process
  • Demonstrated understanding of integrated brand & channel plans that achieve commercial outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability in budget management, P&L understanding and analysis
  • Strong communication skills with strong presence and impact
  • Very strong interpersonal skills with the ability to develop relationships quickly
