Your Impact

 

Join our team in Papakura where you will play a key role in ensuring the continued effectiveness of the site, through planning all of it’s maintenance activities and managing contract service providers.

From setting the calendar, coordinating maintenance activities, resources and developing the budgets, this is a fantastic role for a skilled Maintenance Planner to sink their teeth into.

 

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Administering all aspects of planned maintenance
  • Liaising with the Maintenance teams as well as contractors, Manufacturing Managers and Production Schedulers
  • Planning and coordinating all aspects of planned maintenance – both short and long term
  • Collaborating with Maintenance teams, external contractors, and the site leadership team
  • Coaching other Maintenance staff in best practice maintenance methodologies
  • Reviewing suitability of component specification
  • Developing detailed equipment BOM’s 
  • Developing and administering Maintenance KPI’s  

 

About You

 

With a strong background in maintenance planning or similar mechanical/trade role, you’ll bring broad practical experience with root cause analysis and impeccable attention to detail. With that in hand, you’ll also be well versed in best practice maintenance including RCM methodologies and enjoy coaching others to improve overall site knowledge.

Sound like you? Other key things we’re looking for include:

  • Ideally some experience within FMCG or similar fast paced manufacturing industry
  • Demonstrated success leading preventative maintenance initiatives as well as strong contractor management experience
  • Excellent communication skills enabling you to build strong relationships with your peers and stakeholders
  • Sound computer literacy including prior experience with maintenance systems and Microsoft Office Suite
