As our Packaging Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll dive headfirst into a dynamic role where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to shine.

 

Please note: Due to an internal secondment, this is a fixed-term contract available until December 2025.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead training and development initiatives for packaging staff, ensuring adherence to quality standards and continuous improvement.
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers, managing non-conformance issues and driving corrective actions for quality improvement.
  • Champion compliance with Asahi Global Standards and AGPRM requirements, revising best operating practices to enhance packaging quality.
  • Drive HACCP activities, support site Packaging teams with trials, and facilitate quality audits to optimise processes.
  • Implement strategies to reduce complaints, conduct root cause analysis, and develop corrective actions.
  • Coordinate Quality at Source activities, conducting audits and coaching teams on quality control methods.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy working environment by identifying and rectifying unsafe practices, conducting safety inspections, and adhering to chemical handling procedures.
  • Investigate, report and implement corrective actions for consumer and customer complaints.

  • With your degree in Food Technology, Science, or related fields, you're primed and ready to make your mark within the next step of your quality journey.
  • 2-3 years of experience in quality assurance roles, preferably within the FMCG/Food manufacturing arenas.
  • A strategic mind versed in SPC or similar quality capability methodologies, ready to elevate our processes.
  • Experience in project/change management, navigating through the tides of transformation with ease.
