Your Impact

Reporting to the Senior HR Manager, Supply Chain this role will see you working with employees and leaders at all levels across our Huntingwood and Prospect non-alcohol manufacturing site both on a strategic and operational level. You will be accountable for driving the HR agenda for NSW Manufacturing and Logistics, as part of the broader Asahi Beverages Supply Chain network and build credible working relationships to influence and champion our HR agenda, driving a high-performing culture.

With a comprehensive understanding of Australian Industrial Relations frameworks, you will co-partner to negotiate the sites Enterprise Agreements, together with planning and delivery of people related initiatives at the sites. You will also play an active role in identifying opportunities for talent sharing, implementation of policy and ensuring delivery of best practice employee relations management.

Other key responsibilities include

  • Provide coaching and advice to senior leadership teams on people best practices and ensure quality of line-manager implementation
  • Drive and support the development and delivery of organisational and cultural change plans/interventions
  • Play a key role in the management of on-site employee and union issues
  • Work in partnership with your Manager and the Asahi Beverages Regional Hub to lead negotiations of the site Enterprise Bargaining Agreement
  • Responsibility for projects across the team to embed the Asahi culture, people practices and processes and build capability to drive business performance
  • Develop a deep understanding of the operations, its performance drivers and metrics, in order to deliver cost-effective and value-added HR programs and solutions 
  • Coach managers to build strong individual and team performance on a regular basis

About you

You’re highly experienced in working with a unionised workforce and a motivated HR professional with a comprehensive understanding of Australian Industrial Relations frameworks. You’re comfortable with change and ambiguity, with a strong passion for continuous improvement who can demonstrate success in driving positive change.

In addition, you are:

  • Tertiary qualified in HR, Business, or another related discipline
  • Experienced HR Business partner with sound familiarity of HR specialist disciplines
  • Experienced in the management and negotiation of Enterprise Bargaining agreements
  • Experienced in working in a fast paced and dynamic manufacturing environment, preferably FMCG within a large organisation that demonstrates world-class HR practices
  • Able to coach, influence and enable leader-led change as a key member of the site leadership team
  • Experience in aligning structure, process and routines to implement and anchor changes
