Your Impact

Join us a Brewing Operator at our Boundary Road Brewery in Papakura and play a key role in crafting some of New Zealand’s most loved beers. This hands-on role covers the full brewing process—from handling raw materials and producing wort to managing fermentation, filtration, and quality control checks. You’ll also support our pilot brewery and continuous improvement initiatives.

Please note: This is a 8-hour rotating shift position covering days, afternoons, and nights.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate brewing and filtration equipment in line with production plans
• Manage fermentation processes, yeast pitching, and green beer centrifugation
• Conduct quality checks including chemical and gas analysis of beer
• Perform CIP (Clean-In-Place) procedures and maintain high hygiene standards
• Support the pilot brewery for trial brews and recipe development
• Accurately enter data into our manufacturing information systems
• Proactively identify and contribute to process improvements
• Uphold all health, safety, and quality procedures and promote a safety-first culture

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll have:

• Experience working in FMCG or beverage manufacturing highly desirable
• High attention to detail and organisational skills
• A proactive attitude with a focus on safety and continuous improvement
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast paced team environment
• Good computer literacy and ability to work with manufacturing systems
• A tertiary qualification in science (e.g. chemistry, microbiology), a brewing qualification, or similar beneficial
• Forklift licence beneficial
