We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Coordinator to join our dynamic team at Heathwood. Reporting to the Inventory Lead, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of finished goods inventory across our site. Your work will directly impact inventory management processes, reconciliation efforts, and operational efficiency. This is a fantastic opportunity to leverage your expertise in inventory control and warehouse operations to drive continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure the accuracy of finished goods inventory.
  • Manage inventory reconciliation, resolving any discrepancies and escalating complex issues as needed.
  • Maintain inventory master data, including WMS data entry, safety stock levels, and SKU management.
  • Lead stock take activities, including cycle counts and spot checks.
  • Manage on-hold and aged inventory, and handle interstate transport damage claims.
  • Support pallet and asset management as required.
  • Participate in product recalls and ensure inventory processes align with safety and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and drive continuous improvement initiatives within inventory management processes.
  • Cross-train team members to ensure continuity in inventory control practices.

 

About You

 

You are a driven, proactive individual with a strong background in inventory control and warehouse operations. You thrive in fast-paced environments and enjoy taking ownership of processes to drive efficiency and accuracy. Your commitment to living our Asahi Values, along with your eagerness to grow and develop, makes you an ideal candidate for this role. Additionally, you possess the following:

 

  • At least 3 years of experience in an Inventory Control role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and materials handling.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in SAP, including SAP-based warehouse management systems.
  • Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel and MS Office.
