Asahi has a fantastic opportunity for a Security Exposure Manager to play a critical role in enhancing our cyber security posture. You will be responsible for measuring and reporting on various cyber exposures while guiding remediation teams on prioritisation and methods to mitigate risks. Your role will involve assessing the maturity of our Essential 8 controls, regularly communicating findings to stakeholders, and contributing to executive reporting. You'll also take ownership of applications used for exposure management, ensuring they effectively support our security initiatives. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll assist in implementing alternative controls where necessary and maintain robust documentation. Regular health checks and assessments will be essential to ensure the effectiveness of our security measures and the integrity of our digital environment.

 

Key responsibilities

 

In this key role as a Security Exposure Manager, you will lead the measurement and reporting of cyber exposures across Asahi's operations, playing a pivotal role in enhancing our security posture. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to prioritise and address vulnerabilities effectively. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

 

  • Measuring and reporting on the maturity of Asahi's Essential 8 controls and various cyber exposure areas.
  • Guiding remediation teams on prioritising exposures and recommending effective remediation strategies.
  • Owning applications used for exposure management and ensuring they align with industry standards.
  • Fostering collaboration between technical teams and stakeholders to promote a culture of security awareness.
  • Ensuring compliance with operational, regulatory, and security standards across the organisation.

 

About You

 

To be successful in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in measuring and managing cyber exposures, ideally within a large-scale enterprise or technology-driven environment. You will possess a proven ability to engage and influence stakeholders at various levels, promoting a culture of security awareness and collaboration. You will also bring:

 

  • Previous experience in security operations or vulnerability management, including exposure measurement and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with security tools and platforms related to exposure management and remediation.
  • A strong technical background in assessing vulnerabilities and recommending effective remediation strategies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • A solid understanding of security compliance standards and best practices relevant to cyber risk management.
  • A proactive, solutions-oriented mindset focused on continuous improvement and enhancing the organisation's cyber security posture.
