Your Impact

Partnering with senior leaders in the Central Supply Chain Team, the HRBP will be accountable for driving the HR agenda to support to our Customer Supply Chain General Managers and Central Supply Chain Teams as part of the broader Asahi Beverages Supply Chain network.  

You will also be responsible for projects across the team to embed the Asahi culture, people practices and processes and build capability to drive business performance. You will also partner and collaborate closely with the broader HR community to identify opportunities, be that in efficiencies, talent sharing, employee relations management and/or best practice HR.

 

The opportunity:

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Coach central Supply Chain teams to lead, manage and support their teams in delivering business strategy.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the performance drivers and metrics, in order to deliver cost effective and value-added HR programs and solutions that will enhance business performance
  • Build strong relationships with the leaders based on respect and trust, in order to partner effectively, influence decision making and coach on a range of confidential and sensitive issues 
  • Drive and support the development and delivery of cultural change plans / interventions
  • Critically review transactional HR work on an ongoing basis and provide input to potential solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Implement talent processes to support the current and future development and deployment needs of the Supply Chain function in line with strategies and plans
  • Support recruitment process, including ensuring effective on-boarding
  • Work with the broader HR team to translate regional and local change initiatives and capability strategies into an implementation plan for the site
  • Work with Managers and targeted individuals to understand their training and development needs

 

About You

You have a track record of building good relationships and credibility with business leaders based on solid commercial and operational understanding and an ability to identify customer needs and go beyond just delivering defined HR solutions within Supply Chain.

Additionally, you have the following:

  • A relevant HR or business-related degree
  • Experience in Supply Chain HR roles   
  • Experience in being a business partner within a large organisation that demonstrates world-class HR practices, applied in the interest of sustainable performance and contextualised by an ambitious change agenda
  • Track record of building good relationships and credibility with business leaders based on solid commercial and operational understanding and an ability to identify customer needs and go beyond just delivering defined HR solutions
  • Sound familiarity with good HR specialist disciplines and how to best leverage these – ranging from talent management and career development, recruitment, performance management, organisational development and design, compensation and benefits, to learning and development facilitation
  • Experience in FMCG is preferred but not essential
