Based at our Papakura, New Zealand manufacturing site, you’ll take ownership of QA systems, embed best-practice on the floor, and support quality outcomes from raw materials through to the final product. You’ll work across the business unit to drive compliance, lead problem-solving, and support teams in getting quality right, every time.

 

This is a great opportunity for a QA Specialist with experience leading internal audits and coaching teams to embed CI practices, to take the next step in their career.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a strong quality and food safety culture, ensuring compliance with all regulatory, customer, and internal standards across manufacturing.
  • Build capability by coaching and training frontline teams, embedding quality best practices and audit readiness.
  • Lead quality investigations and root cause analysis, delivering corrective actions that protect product integrity and customer trust.
  • Manage and execute sensory quality training, developing the front-line teams capabilities in self-diagnostic quality control
  • Support new product and promotional launches by ensuring quality systems are ready and aligned with operational teams.

 

About You
You’re a practical QA professional with a sharp eye and a mindset that leans into improvement. You’re confident working with manufacturing teams and passionate about delivering quality products consumers can trust.

You’ll also bring:

  • Proven experience in a similar quality or compliance role across FMCG, industrial chemical or Pharmaceutical. Ideally with some exposure to liquids or beverage manufacturing.
  • Relevant qualifications in Food Science, Microbiology, Quality Assurance or related discipline.
  • Str9ong understanding of food safety and compliance frameworks and their application in an internal and external audit process.
  • Confidence analysing quality data and turning insights into action, coupled with a curious mindset and positive influencing skills.
