Your Impact

This is a critical role in our business, leading a team of marketing managers that manage the full Asahi NZ Alcohol portfolio.  It is responsible for ensuring we have the right portfolio of brands, with the right innovation and activities to meet our Budget and long-term growth ambitions, and to win in-market.

This role is responsible for leading the team to ensure we have robust long-term portfolio/brand strategies, ensuring these are clearly communicated and understood throughout the business to drive organisational alignment and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the Marketing Managers to partner with the Insights and Category teams to source and/or develop relevant consumer/shopper insights for the portfolio, and embed insights into the strategic planning process
• Monitor reporting of priority brands against key brand health measures, implementing actions as required
• Work closely with the marketing managers to develop plans to build brand equity and maintain portfolio relevance in the market
• Effective delivery of Budget and MTP targets, with contingency planning in place
• Work with and coach the Marketing Managers to develop 5-year innovation/activity plans to deliver portfolio growth ambitions
• Manage internal and external stakeholders/project team members to ensure engagement and support for portfolio strategies and key projects

About You

Looking for an individual that can collaborate with a wide variety of stakeholders, influence decisions and strategies and drive growth. A senior marketing professional that has well-developed problem solving skills, analytical thinker and strategic ability.   

• Experienced senior marketing or brand management experience required in a high volume and fast paced consumer goods or alcoholic beverages company with proven record of achievement
• People Management & Leadership experience
• Commercial/cross functional experience
• Strong commercial acumen
• Strong people and influencing skills
