Your Impact

We’re looking for an experienced Engineering or Supply Chain Project professional to lead our Capital Program for New Product Development (NPD). In this role, you’ll manage a small team and work closely with departments across the business - from Marketing and Packaging to Manufacturing and Planning - to make sure our NPD projects are delivered on time, safely, and cost-effectively.

This is a permanent, full-time role based in Melbourne with some flexibility to work from home & opportunities to travel to sites across our AU/NZ network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the delivery of capital projects that support new product launches
  • Work with teams across Supply Chain and Commercial to implement projects, and plan the pipeline of future work
  • Manage and develop two Project Managers
  • Own and update our register of site capabilities
  • Assess where new products should be made based on cost, efficiency, and timing
  • Help scope projects, prepare business cases, and ensure accurate financial forecasting
  • Monitor project risks and dependencies across teams
  • Track program progress, manage budgets, and ensure all safety and quality standards are met
  • Drive top-line growth through the in-full and on-time delivery of capability to support the innovation program, and champion continuous improvement within NPD Delivery

About You

  • 7–10 years’ experience in a manufacturing or FMCG environment
  • Strong background in project or engineering management
  • Experience working with Packaging processes & assets (Liquids or Beverages would be a bonus!)
  • Experience leading or mentoring a small team
  • Confidence managing project budgets and working with cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • A good understanding of the manufacturing process
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deliver outcomes on-time and within budget
