Reporting to the Senior Finance Manager, this career defining role will lead and manage the delivery of all financial information and analysis to the Executive Leadership Team, the Board and our parent entity in Japan, in order to inform and enable strategic decision making for the organisation as a whole.

 

 

In this high profile role, you will work closely with senior management, build excellent relationships with the broader commercial finance team and take overall accountability for the Group’s strategic planning, budgeting and financial forecasting processes.

 

 

Key responsibilities

 

 

  • Delivery of Oceania’s internal mid-term plan and financial management reporting to the ELT, Board and our parent entity
  • Own the Annual Budget and Quarterly Forecasts for Asahi Beverages, aligning with management and Group reporting standards
  • Drive continuous improvement in forecasting, budgeting and management reporting processes across the business.
  • Deliver local (AHA) and international (Asahi Group) planning requirements.
  • Challenge assumptions in forecasts and assess the financial impact of business decisions.
  • Coordinate budget and forecast reporting for the CEO, CFO, ELT, and Group Finance.
  • Lead engagement across the business in budgeting and forecasting through regular stakeholder meetings.
  • Fostering and developing strong and effective relationships with a broad set of stakeholders

 

 

About You

 

 

  • Tertiary degree in finance or accounting, with CA or CPA qualification.
  • Experience in FP&A finance manager roles, preferably in FMCG.
  • Proven ability to deliver financial analysis and decision support to senior leadership.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels.
  • Experience fostering cross-functional relationships and driving continuous improvement.
  • Outstanding stakeholder management, leadership and influencing skills across all levels
