As a Key Account Manager, you will foster lasting, strategic relationships with our key accounts, driving long-term success and profitability. By deeply understanding your customer’s business and the factors influencing their purchasing decisions, you’ll influence sales volume, enhance profitability, and contribute to a culture of collaboration and growth. 

 

 

Key Accountabilities:

 

 

  • Develop and implement account plans that align with business unit strategy, covering product range, pricing, positioning, merchandising, and promotions aligning with the broader business objectives & in collaboration with the Head of On-Premise South
  • Tailor category-specific range plans, space allocations, and merchandising strategies that meet customer needs and maximize impact across relevant account groups and their venues
  • Partner with field sales teams to set execution standards, establish metrics, and ensure alignment with key account strategies
  • Drive compliance within outlets, building strong relationships with venue managers to ensure proper execution of key strategies & joint business plan initiatives
  • Negotiation of existing group aligned customer contracts where applicable, and seek new account group business opportunities
  • Regularly monitor and assess account performance, ensuring commitments, compliance and agreements are met.
  • Create and pitch promotional campaigns and joint activation plans to enhance account performance.
  • Cultivate long-term customer relationships by gaining a deep understanding of their business drivers, needs, and challenges.
  • Analyse the customer value chain and collaborate on identifying joint value creation opportunities.

 

 

About you:

 

 

  • Previous experience in a junior account management role, such as Key Account Executive or National Account Executive in FMCG.
  • Proven ability to manage large accounts and exceed sales targets with a data-driven, analytical approach.
  • Strong in customer profitability analysis, account planning, and revenue planning.
  • Skilled negotiator with experience in closing commercial agreements.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Resilient and results-oriented, thriving in competitive environments.

  • Adaptive to change
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Economics, or Finance is preferred.
