Your Impact

The Innovation Specialist supports, develops and executes a market leading pipeline of products in a defined category that supports to fuel our goal of over 50% of total company NSV growth to come from innovation. The primary purpose of this role is to develop and execute the process of project development by partnering with Innovation Managers and stakeholders across multiple functions. 

Key Accountabilities:

• Support a long term innovation engine that will continue to operate productively and efficiently – so that creative ideas travel from concept to commercialization to maturity.
• Manage and oversee the DMI budget to deliver all innovation projects.
• Facilitate cross functional teams to deliver projects through the formal gate and gensight process.
• Co-ordinate cross-functional teams at different stages of development: to identify key multiple opportunities, ideation, concept exploration, design and commercialization.
• Full leadership of selective innovation and renovation projects on a category of brands (this may include core brands and/or NTW)
• Support the Ideation, scope, alignment and design of concepts in partnership with internal and external (customers and agencies) stakeholders.

About you

• Solid experience in brand management or a commercially led function.
• Business Case orientated and project management skills
• Cross functional experience (Sales, Marketing, Finance)

• Strong communication skills
• Potential skill in consumer insights and/or ideation
• Strong analytical and commercial skills
• High degree of personal accountability and follow through
