Your Impact

The State Account Manager will lead and manage the seamless execution of national sales plans in Victoria for the Independent Grocery Channel, to ensure the delivery of the State Independent Grocery sales, profitability, market share, distribution, merchandising and promotional targets.

Key Accountabilities

• Negotiate with National/State customer contacts to gain commitment on execution of program, as well as driving over and above activity.
• Build and maintain favourable and effective relationships with key decision makers in the Independent Grocery channel and within the industry/state.
• Work with the Independent National Account Management team to ensure an effectively communicated, coordinated and focused sales effort against key commercial priorities for the Independent Grocery channel.
• Achieve agreed sales and market share goals through effective execution of the key commercial priorities
• Ensure customers are aware of and actively participate in ranging new products.
• Ensure sales promotions, merchandising, shelf management and national sales programs are communicated to and executed by the field team by providing seamless communication to internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure that company policies and approved practices are implemented where applicable and complied with by team members.
• Observe and maintain the company’s financial, business and human resources policies and procedures.
