Asahi is seeking a Cyber Security Analyst to join our technology team and play a pivotal role in protecting our digital environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a tech-savvy individual with a passion for learning, problem-solving, and staying ahead in the ever-evolving world of cybersecurity.

 

In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of safeguarding our operations, working across teams to identify and respond to cyber threats, and enhance our security measures. Your technical expertise will drive innovation and resilience within our systems, ensuring that we stay one step ahead of potential risks.

 

  

Key responsibilities  

 

  • Actively monitor security alerts and manage day-to-day incident response activities.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of security events to identify root causes and recommend improvements.
  • Test and tune existing detection algorithms and develop new detection and prevention mechanisms.
  • Confidently engage with stakeholders and vendor representatives to navigate complex discussions and drive aligned outcomes that support the organisation's cybersecurity objectives
  • Proactively test security controls and monitor open-source security intelligence to alert the business.

  • Previous experience in security operations, or strong experience in systems administration, with a keen eagerness to broaden your expertise.
  • Technical skills in root cause analyses to improve security controls.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Knowledge of security standards, best practices, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • A curious, solutions-driven mindset, with a focus on learning and growing in your career.
