Your Impact

 

As a Category Manager for Capex & MRO at Asahi Beverages, you will provide end-to-end leadership over the category management of our Procurement and Sustainability requirements. In this role, you will be responsible for managing sourcing activities while proposing innovative solutions to achieve optimal outcomes for the business. A key focus will be driving cost reductions and delivering on budgeted savings, while also improving the quality and service levels from our supplier base. Additionally, you will champion innovation in processes and systems, helping to enhance Asahi Beverages' competitive edge in the market.

 

This is a fixed-term, 6-month contract

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • To design and deploy a new category management framework that supports the all sub-categories.
  • Partnering with key stakeholders to understand internal business requirements and determine and develop best sourcing and category management strategy
  • To work with the business in ensuring the category delivers the forecast benefits derived from sourcing initiatives and to drive further category productivity over the term of the contract
  • Responsibility for the end to end sourcing activity including negotiations and approval of recommendations
  • To assist in the transition of completed sourcing transactions into the category management framework.
  • Support and/or lead the implementation of SRM to deliver performance management, continuous improvement and innovation objectives.
  • Scale/replicate existing SRM routines/structures where relevant

 

About you:

 

  • Extensive experience within Capex, Engineering and Maintenance Sourcing / Procurement roles
  • A demonstrated achievement of improvements within an FMCG supply chain environment with a high analytical component.
  • Demonstrated management of customer / supplier relationships in an FMCG environment
  • Experience with continuous improvement programs
  • An understanding of change management practices
  • Well-developed people leadership skills
