Your Impact

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Planner within our team at Southbank. Reporting to the Supply Planning Manager (BIFG), you will be an integral part of a value-driven team delivering supply continuity while optimizing customer service and working capital. This role will allow you to manage a portfolio of Finished Goods, collaborate with key stakeholders, and drive process improvements across the supply chain. Your analytical skills and solution-oriented mindset will be key in achieving and improving targeted customer service levels, inventory management, and effective communication with our partners.

 

Please note: This role is a secondment ending in June 2025.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee the supply plan, ensuring compliance with inventory policies and optimization of inventory levels to meet customer demands efficiently.
  • Act as the key planning representative, managing relationships with supply partners, co-packers, and internal teams to mitigate supply risks and address site challenges.
  • Prepare and analyze reports, providing insights into inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and supply issues. Use these insights to drive continuous improvement in planning processes.
  • Facilitate the creation of firm order zones and indicative forecasts and ensure the robust planning and inventory management of materials at third-party contract packers.
  • Develop an end-to-end understanding of operations and supply to anticipate and resolve issues that may impact supply continuity. Communicate effectively across cross-functional teams to optimize outcomes.

 

About You

 

You are a motivated and driven individual with a strong willingness to learn and excel in a dynamic environment. Your attention to detail, coupled with your problem-solving skills, makes you an ideal candidate for this role. You also bring:

 

  • A background in supply planning within a Manufacturing environment, with a strong understanding of inventory management, demand forecasting, and supply chain coordination.
  • Strong analytical abilities with experience in reporting. 
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to manage and influence stakeholders effectively.
  • A proactive approach, with the motivation to achieve targets and continuously improve processes.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel and SAP highly regarded.
