Due to internal promotion, we have an exciting permanent full-time opportunity for a Manufacturing Supervisor, based in our Huntingwood, NSW facility.  Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager, you will lead a production team to ensure production, quality and safety standards are met. This is an imperative role to align the production team with broader strategic goals, and the vision of Asahi Beverages, through a collaborative and engaging approach to leadership.

This is an excellent opportunity to further your experience in leadership, alongside a skilled leadership team and operational teams, within an organisation that prioritises learning and development.

This position requires availability for a fixed Day or Night Shift roster of 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of experienced operators by setting performance and development plans
• Responsibility for shift operations during production cycles
• Investigate, analyse, and implement preventative actions for quality and safety incidents or near misses
• Manage direct and indirect labour and raw material costs for the lines
• Control raw material inventory and work with key stakeholders to ensure appropriate replenishment with close focus on preforms

About you

• Prior experience in a leadership position within a manufacturing environment
• Degree or Trade qualifications, with strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safe Operating Procedures and HACCP principles - Preferred 
• Strong leadership capability with experience leading a team of trades.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and an ability to influence others
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to deal with a variety of stakeholders
