Your Impact

Reporting to the Group Head of Supply Chain HR we are looking for a highly-skilled, pro-active, and innovative HR professional to partner with the General Manager of Asahi Lifestyle Beverages Manufacturing, and their Leadership Teams.

You will lead a team of three HR Business Partners (located in VIC, NSW, and QLD) to drive the strategic HR agenda across our ALB sites and build credible working relationships to influence and champion HR initiatives, resulting in a high-performing culture.

This is an autonomous leadership role where you will provide advice and guidance on all matters relating to HR including engagement, performance management, talent and career development, workforce planning and employee relations, as well as working with our central team to roll out various strategic initiatives.


Other key responsibilities include

  • Responsible for National projects across the team to embed the Asahi culture, people practices and processes and build capability to drive business performance
  • Partner and collaborate closely with the Senior HR Manager CUB to identify opportunities, be that inefficiencies, talent sharing, employee relations management and/or best practice HR
  • Drive the HR agenda and coach the GM and their leadership team in leading, managing and supporting their teams to deliver the business strategy
  • Report performance data and identify key actions in alignment with agreed people scorecards
  • Work with OD Specialists to translate broader regional and local change initiatives and capability strategies into an implementation plan for the function
  • Play a key role in the management of on-site employee and union relations


About you

Highly experienced in Australian Industrial Relations frameworks and in Enterprise Bargaining Agreements, you will have previous experience working in Supply and Manufacturing HR roles.

In addition, you are:

  • Tertiary qualified in HR, Business, or another related discipline
  • Experienced HR leader within a large organisation that demonstrates world-class HR practices
  • Experience in aligning structure, process, and routines to implement and anchor changes
  • Track record of building good relationships and credibility with business leaders based on solid commercial and operational understanding
  • Able to coach, influence and enable leader-led change as a key member of the site leadership team
  • Ability to solve business problems pragmatically and at speed
