Your Impact

We have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Planner to join our team at our Huntingwood site. Reporting to the Reliability Manager, you’ll play a critical role in planning and coordinating maintenance activities using SAP, managing contractor support, and driving continuous improvement in plant reliability. You’ll work cross-functionally to ensure efficient scheduling, resource coordination, and long-term maintenance strategies that support operational excellence.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and schedule all maintenance activities via SAP, ensuring parts availability, work instructions (SOPs), contractor support, and required permits (e.g. hot work, confined space) are in place
  • Develop detailed maintenance plans for shutdowns and major refits across the calendar year
  • Manage and prioritise incoming work requests and maintenance tags
  • Collaborate with trades and specialists to review completed works and scope future tasks
  • Coach and support the maintenance team in best practice maintenance methodologies and safety compliance
  • Develop and maintain equipment histories and Bills of Materials (BOMs) in SAP
  • Create and administer maintenance KPIs and asset care reports
  • Ensure all maintenance activities comply with statutory and company health, safety, and environmental standards
  • Assist with budgeting and forecasting by analysing maintenance data and providing accurate cost estimates

 

About You

If you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on continuous improvement and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you. You will also have:

  • A Bachelor of Chemical Engineering.
  • 3 years hands-on experience in a similar role, ideally within FMCG.
  • Experience in maintenance or reliability planning within a manufacturing, supply chain or engineering environments.
  • Working knowledge of reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) and root cause analysis (RCA)
  • Strong SAP experience in maintenance planning and asset management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
