Your Impact
Reporting to the Site Head of Manufacturing, this opportunity will see you manage and coordinate the People, Plant, Process & Systems of the Brewing Department at our Abbotsford Brewery, to ensure quality and output targets are achieved. With Safety & Quality as the highest priority, you will influence strong governance and continuous improvement across your department, while working alongside the site leadership team, contributing to broader strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, guide, and develop your team, and ensuring compliance to the People Cycle
- Manage brewing process to deliver superior brewing quality, in addition to optimising processes and systems
- Manage financial performance to meet or improve on the budget standards, including shift optimisation, raw materials control, and maintenance costs
- Manage and execute Brewing production plan
- Facilitate problem solving and decision-making across Brewing department
- Lead and drive sustainable development targets, including managing waste and optimising reduced utilities usage
- Lead brewing projects, in addition to working with capital projects teams on site-based improvements
- Manage safety, housekeeping and environmental standards
About You
The successful candidate will possess significant experience in Brewing or a related field at Senior Line Management level. You will have strong technical knowledge, and be motivated to support the development of your team and contribute to the continuous improvement of the broader site.
In addition, you will possess:
- Formal brewing training such as Diploma in Brewing (IBD) & Master Brewer
- Outgoing nature with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach others, manage change, and adapt your approach between being strategic or hands-on
- An analytical approach with a focus on safety and quality
- The ability to strategically drive continuous improvement with the support and skillset of the broader site
- Ideally Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or Natural Sciences (Process or Mechanical Engineering/Biochemistry/Microbiology)
