Your Impact
We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at Tullamarine. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics functions to ensure seamless distribution of our products. You’ll lead and develop a high-performing team, manage key supplier relationships, and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimise efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Your leadership will play a vital role in ensuring that our distribution network operates smoothly, meeting business objectives while maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Please note: This role is on an 24/5, Afternoon Shift roster from 2pm-10pm.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee distribution and inventory management, ensuring efficient storage, stock accuracy, and seamless dispatch.
- Manage labour planning and ensure the right workforce levels to meet operational needs.
- Lead supplier relationships, including transport providers, equipment vendors, and offsite storage partners.
- Investigate and resolve quality issues, conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
- Manage cost control and reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Drive continuous improvement projects to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimise resource use.
- Monitor and track delivery performance, ensuring KPIs are met and service levels are maintained.
- Motivate, lead, and manage a high-performing team, providing coaching, development, and performance feedback.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, ISO standards, and workplace safety regulations.
- Support the implementation of Asahi Way processes, contributing to operational excellence and best practices.
About You
- Experience in warehousing, logistics, or supply chain operations, ideally within FMCG.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, transport logistics, and cost control.
- Proven experience in leading and managing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong conflict resolution, coaching, and change management skills.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to problem-solve and make data-driven decisions.
- Hands-on experience with SAP and Microsoft Office applications beneficial.
