Why Mountain Goat?

Mountain Goat started out back in 1997 when two mates decided they wanted better tasting beers and were determined to do something about it.

Since then, we have gone from strength to strength, becoming an industry leader in the craft beer world winning multiple awards and accolades.

We continue to support the same things we always have – our local community, good causes, live and local music all the while producing tasty beers.

A lot has changed in the world over the past three decades, but that pioneering spirit has never left us.

After all, you can’t tame a Goat.
