Your Impact

 

 

You will be pivotal in providing accounting support, guidance and oversight for Sustainability financial reporting following the introduction of the Sustainability accounting standards. You will be a key member within Group Accounting, and you will be expected to lead project accounting for Sustainability and other projects across the group.

 

 

Key responsibilities:

 

 

  • Assist the Sustainability Committee with reporting in relation to the incoming mandatory Australian Sustainability Reporting standards (ASRS) and any future mandatory reporting that may be required
  • Assist with developing a financial model for the effects of Climate Risks and Related Opportunities (CRRO’s) and integrate these findings into broader financial planning and forecasting processes
  • Identify the impact of prioritised CRROs on investments and assets over the short, medium and long term under 2 identified scenarios (i.e. 1.5 and 4.0 degrees Celsius scenarios)
  • Provide technical accounting analysis and support to the Asahi Beverages businesses and leadership teams on: issues arising from business development activity, mergers and acquisitions, organisational change and change in regulatory requirements
  • Develop effective relationships with a variety of senior leaders across the organisation, and lead and influence conversations with key external organisations and stakeholders

 

 

About you:

 

 

  • Experience in financial audits.
  • Knowledge of key principles in Sustainability standards
  • Knowledge and experience in the application of risk and control frameworks, including process improvement, and ability to evaluate and establish processes and procedures
  • Experience with ERP and Group Consolidation Reporting systems (e.g. HFM, SAP)
  • Strong problem solving and time management skills
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Strong excel skills for financial modelling
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Tertiary Accounting degree and CPA / ICAANZ qualifications
