As a Project Manager in our Group Digital team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering key projects across their lifecycle, ensuring alignment with business priorities and strategic goals. You'll manage the entire project process, working closely with project teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful delivery within agreed timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Your expertise will help shape project outcomes that drive value for the business and ensure smooth transitions to business-as-usual operations.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of projects, adhering to the Asahi Beverages Project Management Framework and driving excellence in project outcomes.
  • Ensure projects are properly resourced and manage the execution of activities to meet schedules and budgets.
  • Oversee project changes, ensuring schedule, scope, and budget adjustments follow the change request process.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design solutions that balance ROI, benefits realization, and change management.
  • Coordinate Steering Committee and Working Group meetings, clearly communicating risks, issues, milestones, and actions.
  • Actively manage risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies and contingency plans for seamless project delivery.
  • Manage project budgets, track actual expenditures, and ensure accurate financial reporting and forecasting.
  • Oversee the transition from project to business-as-usual operations, reinforcing governance and support frameworks.

 

About You

 

  • Tertiary qualification essential, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in project and program management focused on delivery excellence.
  • Strong background in project management methodologies, such as PRINCE2 and Agile, with the ability to adapt to various environments.
  • A strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of making high-impact decisions.
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior leadership.
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments, ideally within the supply chain, FMCG, or retail industries.
  • Skilled in stakeholder management and building collaborative relationships across IT and the business.
  • Expertise in financial management, including budgeting and forecasting for large-scale projects.
