About the Opportunity  


As the Supply Planner – BIFG & DRP you will be based at our Papakura site and responsible for distribution requirement planning (DRP) across our wine and non-alcohol portfolio. This includes playing a key role in our IBP process to ensure effective planning, ordering and movement of stock from our customers and across our network to ensure we are meeting our customer delivery targets.



Key responsibilities include:


  • Maximise customer service by the procurement of Brought in Finished Goods whilst in compliance to set inventory targets
  • Completion of all Daily, Weekly, Monthly Planning cycles – management of all BIFG & DRP planning activities – Purchase order creation, Vendor forecasting, 3PL & Inventory balancing
  • Working collaboratively with the wider teams of Demand teams and Network Manager to identify and mitigate risks to service (0-12 month horizon), obsolescence
  • Operational relationship with 3PL, 3PM, co-packers and internal Production & Logistics teams.
  • NPD / Obsolescence management
  • Ownership of weekly and monthly IBP processes –compliance to Mid Term plan and Business KPI’s.

About You


  • Min 3 years previous supply chain planning experience (ideally in FMCG industry)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of the wider end to end supply chain within an FMCG environment.
  • Experience in running weekly/ Monthly IBP process meetings
  • Customer focused with excellent written and verbal communications skills. 
  • Strong analytical skills able to make the connections in data, events and trends.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Good understanding and use of IT systems and databases.  Dynamics, SAP, Navision experience. Advanced excel skills required.
  • Tertiary qualification in Supply Chain, Commerce or Logistics an advantage
