Your Impact
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Raw Materials Lead to join our team, supporting two key manufacturing sites - Wulkuraka (primary location) and Yatala (1 day/week). In this pivotal role, you’ll lead and mentor a team of Raw Materials Coordinators and Officers, ensuring the availability of raw materials through effective ordering, scheduling, and inventory management. You’ll collaborate closely with Manufacturing, Supply Planning, and Quality teams to drive performance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across both sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing raw materials team across two sites.
- Oversee inventory accuracy, stock control, and raw material readiness to meet production schedules.
- Act as the main point of escalation for supply issues and work closely with suppliers to resolve challenges.
- Ensure team alignment with EBA requirements and performance expectations.
- Drive safety culture through regular safety walks and process improvements.
- Work closely with site teams to support new product launches, plan changes, and material availability.
- Champion collaboration across Manufacturing, Planning, and Procurement functions.
About You
You’re an experienced operations or supply chain professional with a strong background in inventory or materials management. You're confident leading people, solving problems, and juggling multiple priorities across sites. You know how to build strong relationships, communicate effectively, and drive positive change.
- 5–10 years’ experience in a similar materials management role, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally in a site-based operational environment.
- Strong understanding of raw material planning, inventory control, and supplier coordination.
- MRP experience and knowledge of SAP and Excel beneficial.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
