Your Impact 

We’re seeking a Senior Packaging Technologist to join our Technical Team at Asahi Beverages. In this role, you’ll work across our alcohol and non-alcohol operations, supporting Packaging NPD and Value Optimisation initiatives, while also leading key packaging projects. Reporting to the Senior Packaging Manager, you’ll collaborate cross-functionally and manage projects involving both packaging materials and operations, engaging closely with site teams to meet business goals.

Please note: This role is on a fixed-term contract for 24-months and requires working at and travel across multiple sites in Victoria.  

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development, optimisation, and delivery of packaging solutions across the beverage portfolio.
• Plan and prioritise packaging initiatives to support key projects and business objectives.
• Provide technical expertise to production, quality, and cross-functional teams.
• Partner with Marketing on NPD and with Procurement on Value Optimisation projects.
• Drive continuous improvement with a focus on cost savings and trial execution.
• Communicate clearly to influence stakeholders and ensure successful project outcomes.

• Ideally, hold Tertiary qualifications in Science or Engineering.
• Demonstrate a keen technical curiosity and an impeccable eye for detail.
• Showcase excellent communication skills that resonate in any professional setting.
• Navigate the digital landscape with proficiency in SAP, MS Office, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Candidates with a robust background in quality will be considered.
