As Senior Manager Innovation & New Growth, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving the long-term value of our multi-beverage strategy and future growth across the entire Asahi portfolio. You'll lead the charge in identifying and capitalising on exciting new beverage opportunities, driving long-term value through strategic breakthrough innovation and cutting-edge technical advances. You’ll be a high-performance collaborator who can drive seamless transition of new product developments from discovery to concept validation and engage business divisions for commercialisation.

 

This position serves as a maternity leave replacement hire and will be offered on a fixed-term contract basis spanning approx. 12 months.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be a mastermind in uncovering and evaluating lucrative new beverage opportunities that align perfectly with our multi-beverage strategy and unlock the potential of our brands across Oceania.
  • Champion new opportunities by developing robust business cases and overseeing their successful implementation.
  • Lead the development of Asahi Beverages' 3+ year innovation strategy for liquids and packaging. This roadmap will be the cornerstone of our future, ensuring alignment with the commercial plan and leveraging consumer insights to identify and capitalise on emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Own and drive continuous improvement in our innovation processes.
  • Establish best practices, facilitate knowledge sharing across business divisions, and ensure our innovation pipeline is meticulously planned and delivered for success.
  • Foster a culture of high-performance collaboration. You'll work closely with business divisions to ensure their innovation strategies and pipelines seamlessly integrate with the overall vision.

 

About You:

  • A seasoned professional with 10+ years of experience in a large matrixed FMCG or similar industry.
  • Extensive experience identifying, evaluating and delivering new business growth opportunities.
  • Possess a deep understanding of the FMCG or Beverage landscape, with strong expertise in commercial, sales, marketing, and innovation.
  • A strategic thinker with a knack for identifying and solving complex problems with innovative solutions.
  • A financial wizard with a keen eye for evaluating opportunities and ensuring strong ROI.
  • A masterful collaborator with the ability to influence and inspire cross-functional teams.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, juggling multiple priorities and stakeholders with an unwavering commitment to excellence.
