Join us on an exciting career as Technical Development Manager at our Southbank location. Reporting to the Group Head of OPEX & CAPEX, you will define, lead, coordinate, and quality assure the technical capability development processes for Supply Chain (manufacturing and logistics).

 

Your role also extends to seamless collaboration with group People & Corporate Affairs Capability team to ensure consistent delivery of a One Asahi approach to development.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Lead and coordinate the technical capability development function working with site technical development partners.
  • Influence and engagement with stakeholders relating to supply chain capability development strategic alignment, priorities, thought leadership and impact.
  • Develop a strong and cohesive technical development community of practice across sites.
  • Supply Chain functional skills & competency identification, mapping & training needs analysis.
  • Support technical capability training for externally supported training, specifically coordinating IBD enrolments and technical training for Supply.
  • Apply governance principles to use of Learning Management System for Supply Chain in alignment with central LMS governance.
  • Programs/initiatives effectiveness monitoring/evaluation.

 

About you

 

  • Degree qualifications in Business Management, Food Technology, Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years’ leadership experience in supply chain technical capability development role (supply chain and FMCG experience is an advantage).
  • Proven experience in operations management, stakeholder engagement, and project teams.
  • Demonstrated experience in organizational development or leading the implementation of training/learning solution design function.
  • Highly effective communication, leadership, influencing, project management and change management skills, with management and shop floor personnel.
