We have an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Coordinator within our team at Prospect. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy of finished goods warehouse inventory across our site. Your expertise will be crucial in managing inventory control, resolving complex stock issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Please note: While this is a full-time position encompassing 40 hours per week, flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate varying demands throughout the year.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Ensure accurate management and reconciliation of inventory across warehouse sites, including off-site locations. Address and resolve complex inventory issues efficiently.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the business unit to enhance inventory processes and reduce errors.
  • Manage stock on hold, aged inventory, and interstate transport damage claims. Oversee pallet control to prevent losses.
  • Maintain inventory master data, including WMS and SAP systems. Manage data entry for new and old SKUs, safety stock levels, and walk sequences.
  • Participate in product recalls, manage stock take and spot check programs, and ensure adherence to safety and environmental regulations.
  • Train team members on inventory processes to ensure continuity of skills within the team and support overall operational efficiency.

 

About You

 

You are a proactive and detail-oriented individual adept at decision-making. Whether you have previous experience in a similar role or are looking to step up, your strong background in inventory control and your focus on accuracy and efficiency make you an ideal candidate. Additionally, you possess the following:

 

  • Understanding of Warehousing and/or Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge of SAP, including SAP-based warehouse management systems, and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Meticulous in managing inventory, ensuring data accuracy, and resolving issues.
  • Ability to tackle complex challenges and implement effective solutions autonomously and within a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth operations.
