Your Impact


An exciting opportunity has come available for a Distribution Centre (DC) Manager to join our Heathwood facility. Overseeing all DC operations in Heathwood and Townsville this role will be accountable to ensure optimal Customer Service and cost to serve.

You will further develop a more efficient and customer centric supply chain and introduce modern supply chain principles such as Operational Excellence and Customer Value. 

The scope of the role includes the management of all warehouse functions including safety, warehouse management, inventory, Budget, customer service and chain of responsibility.


Key responsibilities


  • Ensure customer service and business KPI’s for the site are met
  • Develop and implement a customer-centric, responsive end to end supply chain operation in line with company strategy
  • Contribute to developing and setting financial targets by managing the budgets and driving cost down initiatives 
  • Continuous identification and elimination of waste in the Distribution value streams
  • Improve organisation effectiveness through the development and deployment of solutions to improve productivity and drive a performance culture
  • Ensure health & wellbeing for our people and the environment through focused programs and adherence to compliance 


About You


  • Degree qualified in a business or supply chain related discipline 
  • Specialty training in, or proven experience of, modern supply chain concepts is preferred 
  • Logistics experience (5+ years) in FMCG warehousing preferred Experience in driving and improving Safety Culture in an operational environment
  • A demonstrated achievement of improvement & change in an FMCG warehousing and distribution environment
  • Demonstrated leadership of a mature employee participation / consultation process in a distribution environment
  • Experience in relationship management of both internal clients and external stakeholders
