Your Impact

We are currently looking for a Head of Strategic Revenue Management to lead our Revenue Management Team! In your new role, you will be heading up a team of three and working strategically with the broader business to upskill and deliver our Revenue Management programme. Over the last 2 years, we have made great progress on our Revenue Management journey and are looking for you to join the team and continue the momentum.

You will lead and maintain the Asahi NZ SRM agenda, including setting the strategic direction and roadmap, aligned with the wider commercial teams. This role will provide the Asahi NZ team with directions that best utilise portfolio strategy, price decision making and trade investment to deliver long term profitable growth for Asahi NZ and its retailer partners.

Other Key Responsibilities include:

  • Embedding SRM framework and long-term roadmap in the Asahi NZ business
  • Owning strategies and key workstreams for SRM (Trade Terms and SRM enablers: People, Process, Governance & Tools)
  • Align business strategy with customer and portfolio focus, translating financial impact and market conditions into tangible KPIs
  • Drive and influence planning decisions to optimise future business plans based on analysis and revenue insights
  • Identify Revenue risks and opportunities and mitigation plans to address gap closure
  • Lead an SRM Value Mindset across everything we do, embedding through workshops and training across the business
  • Effective relationship management with key business stakeholders.
  • Provide the cross functional Commercial Leadership Team with thought leadership in Revenue Management
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners, both locally and with our Australian teams, representing the NZ SRM agenda across the Asahi Group.
  • Coach and manage strategic revenue management team
  • Provide training and tools to enable commercial teams to more effectively manage revenue (plans and execution)
  • Identify and improve SRM systems and process workflows, identifying required technical and behavioural change
  • Apply Brand price strategy principles to portfolio, promotional strategies, list price and discount curves
  • Develop a long-term plan for managing trade term spend more effectively based on key Trade Term principles

 

About You

As an outstanding leader, you will have significant experience in revenue management and customer investment strategies to drive profitable revenue growth, together with proven Leadership and influencing capability across business functions at Senior Management level.  We are a tightknit team, so you will not be afraid to meet the team at our in-house bar or share a coffee from our premium Allpress coffee machine.

In addition, you have:

  • 10+ years’ experience in relevant type roles
  • Ability to identify strategic opportunities for the business unit and translate these into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills at all levels
  • Strong and demonstrable influencing and negotiation skills at senior organizational levels.
  • Proven team management and leadership skills
  • Strong analytical skills and development of insights and recommendations for action
