Your Impact

Reporting to the Payroll Lead, this role will see you take responsibility for the efficient, accurate and timely payroll delivery for all Asahi employees and the delivery of timely payments to third party financial institutions.  You will ensure all Company Policies, Procedures, SLA’s and relevant legislative requirements are met.


The opportunity:

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Acting as Subject Matter Expert for Time & Attendance, Payroll systems/processes including system administration and UAT testing – ideally utilizing your ADP and Kronos skills
  • Support the payroll team with processing and providing guidance for process improvement opportunities
  • Process complex EBA’s within short timelines, working with team leaders to ensure deadlines are met
  • Work with the Payroll Compliance Lead to ensure Audit and Legislative requirements are completed and work with the business to train and uplift user understanding and knowledge
  • Contribute towards building the roadmap for Payroll Optimization, aligned to the overall Service Optimization, Automation and Integration Strategy
  • Work closely with stakeholders to improve the overall user experience and minimize performance impacts during service transition periods or system outages


About You

 You will be considered a Subject Matter Expert working to support the business by providing efficient, reliable, supportive and adaptable payroll services to our internal and external customers, to enable business performance

In addition, you will possess:

  • Ideally Tertiary qualifications with demonstrable experience in payroll processing and Payroll/T&A System administration
  • Knowledge and experience working within a continuous improvement framework – Six Sigma / Lean
  • Demonstrated experience, understanding and application of relevant industry Awards as it relates to payroll, leave management and related HR regulatory requirements
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the business
  • Strong influencing and stakeholder management skills, ideally within a fast paced and competitive environment.
