Your Impact

You will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and have the opportunity to be a leader in how Asahi Beverages uses digital channels to bring brands to life. Leading 1 Social Specialist, you will be responsible for co-creating channel strategies, developing paid owned, and earned content plans, facilitating digital media buying and executing approved strategies.

Through your forward thinking and insightful view of marketing channels and emerging platforms, you'll develop roadmaps to lead Asahi into the new age of channel execution and design end-to-end consumer journeys using the optimal digital channel mix to achieve brand and campaign objectives.

The Opportunity

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Devise end to end consumer journeys with optimal digital channel mix recommendations based on brand and campaign objectives
  • Deliver best in-class social media plans with a focus on consumer attention and engagement
  • Maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including media partners, key agencies and internal stakeholders across Asahi and our portfolio of brands
  • Provide campaign recommendations on how to best leverage digital channels to achieve brand goals.
  • Work with Project Leads on clear workflows from brand briefs into execution
  • Work with key agency partners (PHD, OMD) to ensure digital plans are integrated into brand media responses and recommendations
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of brand channel plans including media plans for Social & VOD
  • Upskill and develop the Channel Specialist team where necessary to stay at the forefront of existing and emerging channels


About You

You have a high level of digital marketing channel expertise across Paid, Owned and Earned platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, YouTube & Adobe. You have a challenging and inquisitive mindset; with a strong ability to interpret briefs and think beyond the basic requirements given by a brand.

In addition, you:

  • Strong understanding of Brands and have a broader marketing appreciation
  • Demonstrated ability to strategise and execute content plans across Paid, Owned and Earned
  • Proven ability to identify and implement innovative digital communications
  • Understanding of the role of each channel within the wider Marketing landscape
  • Solid understanding of Google Analytics, using UTM or similar tagging frameworks to demonstrate content effectiveness
  • Experience working MROI models is desirable.
  • In-depth knowledge of Facebook Business Manager
  • Project management in Asana advantageous
